Somehow managed to scratch the screen on my mobile at the weekend and was wondering if anyone can give me any pointers as to how to repair it?

Thanks for that, i'll give it a try. :T
  • Replace the screen. Depending on the model a replacement should be cheaply available.

Top tip. If you get a new phone, replace the cover straight away with a cheaper copy. Keep the original cover (and the box) for selling the phone later. I do this with my contract phone and it all helps to make my mobile phone costs almost free.

Works for car wheel trims too though I've not done this one myself.

I used Brasso on my old Motorola V220 and it came up like new. That was on the harder plastic of the external screen though.
  • Normal car polish will do the job.

  • is it the actual lcd screen or the plastic screen on the fascia.

Both should be available to buy off of ebay. Obviously a new fascia will be cheaper than an lcd screen and you usually need the special wee screwdriver to get the old lcd out!

There is a product called displex (see activemobiles.com) which may do the job.
