is MMS free to receive while roaming?

SMS is free to receive while roaming, but how about MMS?

    when I was aboard and got an MMS it was free.

    Also O2 told my friend couple weeks ago she can use 8sms inclusive allowance per 1 mms whilst roaming

    they are to recieve free on all uk networks. to send from abroad vodafone (PAYG) is the most expensive - 75p, and t-mobile (PAYG) is cheapest - 20p
