EGG Cash ISA 2008-2009

I opened a cash ISA with EGG last summer following a recommendation from this website. I'm sure the interest rate was about 6% . I recently got my interest added to my account and it was nowhere near that figure. Has anyone any ideas if this would have been a fixed rate or if it would have been open to varations??

Egg have never done fixed rates for ISAs.
