Email wanted for 'Telecom One Ltd'
Can anyone provide me with an email address for 'Telecom One Ltd'. I have their address and phone number but cannot find an email address. Icstis & Ofcom have them listed under several breaches of policies but no other contact info.
I ask because I got a message on my mobile last night which when opened was a pathetic joke which it appears has cost me £1.50 to view.
Now I am not at all happy about this for the following reason, I never use my PAYG mobile except to phone or text my daughter, have'nt done that since Christmas 2005, I have NEVER signed up to any sms or other services, would'nt know how and not interested anyway so am darned annoyed that some scam merchant has nicked my money without my knowledge.
Had a look at Icstis and checked the number shown (82040) it came up as Telecom One Ltd, want to contact them and get my £1.50 back. Object to having to spend more money phoning them though hence the request for email address.
Yes I know it is not a lot but I am not in the habit of giving money away and do not intend to start now.
Thanks

My wife also received an unwanted text with 'joke' last night from 82040, she has never subscribed to any text services and the phone is only used for emergencies. cheesed off about the £1.50 but is it worth the hassle of contacting these companies?
I stopped the text as per instructions on the ICSTIS website so hoping theres no more..0 -

I've read on MSE a lot of cases of this happening, and there should be an easier way of preventing it, or enforcing harsh punishments if the company sending the texts cannot prove that the receiver requested the texts in the first place.0 -
But if we all decided it was too much hassle then these companies would be free to continue their scams. While I agree £1.50 is not a lot I personally feel that the more of us who actually take steps to let these companies know that we are not going to ignore their dishonest tricks the more chance there is that they will eventually have to rethink their strategy and the more complaints the higher the chance of the Regulators actually doing something to put an end to this rip offs.Speak your truth quietly and clearly;and listen to others, even to the dull and ignorant, they too have their story. Agree wholeheartedly, the reason I said hassle is because when I phoned the company they told me my wifes mobile number is not on their database, but to leave a contact number with them and they would contact me, I refused and am emailing ICSTIS with the details.
Apparently ICSTIS cannot return money but hoping they can advise on what to do, I don't want to phone this company again.0
