The longer you leave it the less choice you will have on seats , the offers tend to be on the cheaper seats . I would rather pay the extra have a great seat and really enjoy the show , then have cheaper tickets and not such a good experience
I'd love to be able to have that choice. Have been brought up going to the cheap seats and unfortunately never got beyond that. That is why I have been posting on money saving expert.0 -
Have a look at last minute.com they have loads on 1/2 offer - booked Hello Dolly for £16 pp"This is a forum - not a support group. We do not "owe" anyone unconditional acceptance of their opinions."0

September is always a quiet month in the West End. Always lots of deals around at the last minute. I noticed that Metro (the free newspaper) had lots of deals advertised this morning. Worth checking out.Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...0

When you get to London, check out theatre ticket booths in Leicester square, guarantee you will find something you like, check London Theatre - google 'tkts' can now book in advance, check website daily after 11am to see what is available or turn up after 11am at the booth in the square.0

Hi
I have managed to secure theatre tickets very cheaply on the day you want to go. The theatres generally hold seats to sell on the day around 10am. I have had seats for Jersey Boys ( front rows) for £15 and for Billy Elliott for £17.50. Granted they were not the best seats but still!! Good Luck0 -
Definitely wait, believe it or not ALL shows discount to get people in the house at the last minute.
Box Office booths in Leicester Square (the official ones) always call the Theatre and ask for 'Specials' these are top price seats at a discounted rate. It's always important you know the Face Value of the ticket.
Jersey Boys isn't disounted and Disney do not discount heavily as a matter of course. Saturday nights are always popular and most tickets sell for full price in advance. West-End shows pay for the weeks running of the show on a Saturday and their midweek sales are profit. Be careful with Lastminute.com as they don't offer you seat numbers. I'd advise you to use existing deals. All of which are posted on a site called Broadwaybox. I'm not allowed to post the link as I'm a new user!0 -
I'd second www.broadwaybox.com/london/ always worth a check0
