Thank you so much for getting rid of the News Ticker. All of the problems with the forum page loading and slowness have disappeared. The difference is incredible.

I posted and criticised the ticker asking for it to be removed or made optional and will post again to say glad its gone.

However, i think the Latest News box is a great idea, looks fab and catches your eye with interesting topics - well done:T

Thats great, far better solution than the ticker.

One thing though, I now have a horizontal scrollbar as the right column is now half odd the screen. Not overly worried as it is probably temporary as you are changing settings. Using Vista with latest Firefox.

Edit: Still the same, it is 1280x1024

Just wanted to say thanks for taking the ticker away and replacing it with the news box :T

I suspect that's only in this thread as someones put a large image in above - that often breaks threads :)

The only image in this thread is thumbnailed so it isn't that.

Anyway, it is fixed now :)

It's a mess for me. I'm internet explorer 6. On full screen it looks like the following, including the odd lines which you can see when you click on the attachment:

That is what I see, I just dont know how to do a screen capture to show it.

I have upgraded to ie8 and the news box on the right looks ok now.

I am not impressed with ie8 though, I prefer 7.
