T-Mobile Annoyance!

Hi all,

Just wanted to get some advice on what to do about my recent experiences with T-Mobile. I am tied into a Flext 40 contract until September 2010, having recently upgraded it from a Flext 30 because the allowance wasn't enough for me to do my job.

Prior to this, I had sent my phone in for repair to T-Mobile (Nokia 5800 XpressMusic), with a dodgy screen, dropped connection to the network, intermittent web'n'walk connection and failed text messages. This came back after 3 and a half weeks, something I'm already annoyed about! Anyway, phone's back, and I'm using it ok - drops the connection to the network at least 3 times a day, and gives me a 'connection error' when I try to make calls from time to time. Texts are still failing to numerous networks, and I have had some of these traced, and apparently they are being dropped at the receiving end (?)

I contacted T-Mobile couple of days ago, and they said ok write down examples of when the connection drops etc, sod's law, it only happened 3 times in a 24 hour period, which is completely unrepresentative!

Either way, I'm not happy with the service i'm receiving - staff are ok, but what's the point in having a mobile and a £40 a month contract, if I can't use it? And when I send a text message that fails, it comes out of my allowance!

Just wondered what I could do, or if anyone has had the same or similar experiences? I'm not happy with the quality of the actual mobile service that is being offered, and its a shame that I'm in contract until September 2010 otherwise I'd leave them like a shot!

My brother incidentally also is on T-Mobile, and he is having trouble receiving text messages - they asked him to record when he doesn't receive texts... I'm sorry but short of calling all his friends to ask 'did you text me?', how is he supposed to track these? When I tried to comment on this to the operator, he hung up on me. I have the details of his name and team number, so if anybody knows where I can report this person, that'd be helpful too!

Sorry for the long post, thought I'd rather give you the whole story rather than ask questions later!!!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Kay :)

Completely agree with you about t-mobile. Their customer service is rubbish!

I have a PAYG with them. Since I got the phone, I have had no internet access from the phone. This is almost 2 years now. Given them repeat opportunities to rememdy - no success.

They send me offers by text, yet when I reply, a text comes back saying that I'm not eligible for that offer.

They've not refunded any of the VAT on the top ups I've made.

I have had calls to their customer services team cut off part way through. s they know who they're talking to I'm suprised they cannot be bothered to call back!

They also set up the account in a wrong name, & it took them 12+ months to fix this!

    Tmobile are rubbish.

Think I'd better cut & opaste this into the vents board!
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.
