Hi all

Just a quick question asking if anyone has a W595 and if so what is it like? I'm thinking of getting one with a free gift but also fancy the W995 but I don't get a gift. It's a hard choice

Well I've just recently got the W595. I like it. It's works great as an mp3 player as well as a phone lol. I'm having more difficulty texting due to it being a slidy phone, which I'm not used to. The graphics on the screen are amazing. I don't really see much difference between the phones. I tested them both out in store and got the W595 because of the cheap tariff it was on.

I've used the camera a couple of times, it's ok, but then again I'm used a DSLR lol. It connects easily to my computer and mine has a 2gb memory card in as well. I also got with it an adapter so I can use my own headphones for the mp3 player facility/handsfree.

What's the gift anyway? Are you going onto contract? If so the W595 will probably be on the cheaper tariffs without having to pay anything for the phone.

I've got the w595. Dropped it a couple of times and now the backin on the screen has come off - so I can't hardly read text messages.

Gutted. It was a nice phone. Now need to get a new one. DOH!

Cheers for your reply. The free gifts are another problem as I can't decide what to get. PSP, PS3, Xbox, TV (23 or 32 inch) grrrrrrrr

Some you have to pay a little extra for (from free upto 55 for the 32 inch tv) but still a lot cheaper than buying them and I'd be paying the same amount on my contract for my phone (25 or 30 a month) so no extra cost there.
  • i would'nt know about the w595 but the w995 is amazing. It has everything you would want on a phone including 8.1 mp camera, wi-fi and built in GPS. Its a great camera phone with a walkman too. Other than that i dont know what would work out cheaper for you or if you would like to take out the free gift.
  • I agree the W995 is great, had a few minor problems with it, but just the screensaver not working and it dying but orange replaced no bother and even with those problems I still love it, amazing camera, mp3 player and the wifi is great!
