Can you still get those sheets that you stick in the tumble drier with a dry clean only item to freshen them up? I used them once or twice. My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Yep. I've used them as well, but am not sure about mentioning a brand name on this board.frivolous_fay wrote: »Can you still get those sheets that you stick in the tumble drier with a dry clean only item to freshen them up? I used them once or twice.0 -
I have rescued things by spraying some favourite perfume on a baby wipe, then using that as a tumble dryer sheet with the dryer set on low. Then if it ever stops raining give it a blow on a line of you have access to one. If it's just smoky/musty you should get away with it, but I'd still let the seller know.0

I often wash things that are dry clean only, never had a problem yet. As said before, you just have to be very careful washing and drying, and if it has shoulder pads or something like that it, remove them first. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Item described as machine washable? Item itself says dry clean only?
Then it's significantly not as described.
Be aware that Paypal will expect you to return the item at your own expense using a service that provides online proof of delivery (e.g. Recorded)
Since you only paid 99p for the item (plus postage), consider if going to this expense is worthwhile."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
