Getting weirder now. Guy has just text to see when he can pick it up and if its drivable. Have told him no coz its got no tax or MOT and hes says not a problem as he has tradeplates--is this right??

I sold my dads old volvo on Ebay a couple of years back, car was advertised as having a 'dodgy back-axle that was liable to sieze', a bloke from Coventry bought it. Unfortuanatley, the guy got sent to jail for a year before he could collect it. His brother turned-up, paid cash for it, then drove it away. Amazingly in made it all the way from Colchester without any problems.Never Knowingly Understood.

Have phoned DVLA and according to them he can only drive it away if he has a MOT or he is on his way to a prebooked local MOT station--not 400 miles away !!

Know what you mean about people living far away, though its no where near the same, i had a bird cage listed on ebay for £30, someone asked me if they bought it could they collect on Mon 24th Aug, i said 'yes' without reading the date right, just forward thinking to Mon. (10th just passed)
When i re read the q and then checked where the person lived it was 2 1/2 drive to get to me and i couldn't understand that at all, just for a bird cage.
Turns out on Monday the 24th the person is working close to where i live, which is why they asked if id be home for it to be collected.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
Well guy never collected, no word from him and other people i contacted havent heard too.
