Desktop PCs: Your thoughts on a couple!

If something goes wrong with 3 suppliers that could be fun.
I bought a pc from cube. It cost £20 more than be building it, and gives me some piece of mind if anything goes wrong
(no connection etc)0 -
I'm quite a tech, so it's not too bad working out what's wrong with it. I found cube's spec of the above cost around £1000, and they didn't answer an e-mail I sent, so will be going it alone in first week of sept

Just a quick update on this one, the guys over at bit-tech have been working hard scouting the net, and looks like a self-build will be better. Here's the specs we jointly came up with:
Hope that helps anyone tracking this topic!

Doesn't say which version of Vista Home Premium. It would have to be the 64bit version or all your Ram over 4 GB is uselessly wasted. Which you might find your 32bit software you have already wont run, Not that the 32 bit version of vista means it would run either.Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740

32 bit is more like 2.5gb to 3gb of ram will be used (take away from that GFX card memory too so with a 512/1gb gfx card - memory really takes a hit)
64 bit all the way0
