help with blocked 3 phone
Hi,hoping someone can help,my son bought a new 3120 phone off
ebay,he had it unlocked to go abroad, all was fine till this weekend, when it stated 'no service' and sim registration failed.
the phone was on 3 in the first instance.I tried a t-mobile and
voda sim, they do work fine, but my 02 sim does not, when he phoned 3 they were helpful-ish, but said he would need to get in touch with the ebay seller. They would just need to speak to 3 cust service,to confirm the IMEI, but he has not any trace of the ebay details,he says the phone is not blacklisted or stolen,he reckons he registered the handset when he started his 3 payg contract.
Has anyone any ideas as to where he can go now? Or is the phone a right off. He has had it for just over 8 weeks. thanks

Have you called O2 ? If their sim won't work it and the others will it sound more like it's blocked on O2 for some reason.0

Stolen perhaps? and sold on ebay.
Maybe he could check back his emails, might have an ebay email with the seller's details or check his paypal (if he used paypal to pay for it) etc.0 -
If it was stolen it would be blocked on all the networks. It sounds like it's a problem just with O2.0
