    When I mentioned about the CGC - all cards that currently have CGC facility are always full cards and do not need online authorisation. The full auth cards need the sale confirmed before approval - if no phone line, it simply declines the transaction.

    I'd go to HSBC - better bank and also still give CGC (for now!)
