Best menorca car hire?

I keep nearly booking car hire at mahon airport but then doing a quick review of the company and seeing how awful some are.

So does anyone have recommendations for a good hire car company in menorca ..

We too have a autistic child (with learning difficulties )and fully appreciate your concerns.When we have gone to Menorca we have used poppy cars, run by a friendly husband and wife team,as opposed to big company so easier to communicate with and they remember you/your situation,
They reply to emails and its easy to speak to them on the phone,we ,as a family ,have used them regularly and so has my brother and his wife.We have been most please at price, sevice and trust(ie drop off car after use with no hassle.. havent used them when travelling to menorca with our son (yearly respite weeK) but where thinking of going next year and would use these guys-Google poppy cars menorca and give them a call!They are friendly and personal and would not make your life more difficult

hi, thanks so much for your answer. the funny thing is that i gave up waiting a response and booked............poppycars!!! how funny. Got a six seater car for £258 and hopefully no queuing. debating whether to dose my lad up on phenegan just for the flight but hear that it may give really bad dihorreaah(not what you want on a flight!).:eek:

there is a 0870 number on poppy car website that you can phone from uk, If you tell them your situation and that you dont want to wait around im sure they will help you out.Re medication for flight you should have any problem phen.Why not try it before you go in case of unwanted side effect. Would be interested how it goes ,where your staying ,who your flying with etc but dont know how to personal message you and dont think i can leave my emailor its removed.Do you know how to personal message or whatever it is. We know the island quite well amd may be able to advise you too.
