Which mobile for Tomtom 700?
I have Tomtom 700 sat nav and would like to know if any of the following phones are compatible for using the "Traffic" service:-
They have bluetooth
VK207i, Motorola V550 or Motorola V300.
The Tomtom website does give a list of recommended phones, none of which I have.
Any help please?

I have a similar situation. I've got a Samsung D600 that won't sync with the TomTom 700 - found out later that it too wasn't on the list of compatable phones.
Not sure if there is any compatable software that you can download from the internet to the TomTom in order for it to sync with the mobiles.I know that there are various sites thatprovide software to enhance the POIs.
Hopefully the collected knowledge of this forum may be able to help.
Any ideas?0 -

Contract ends this month and I want a phone which also can be use as sat nav with tom tom .
I want a 12months contract (not 18) on a good deal, dont mind cashback from reputable companies and a phone that is quite easy to use.
There are many sat nav phones, how do I find out which one can be use as sat nav?0 -

You cant go wrong with either the 6630 or 6680 both work very well with tomtom mobile.
Btw you need either a symbian or windows based phones to use tomtom.0 -
Sony Ericsson P910i works extremely well with TomTom Mobile 5. No problems at all and a nice big screen so you don't crash the car whilst navigating!
In fact I got the SE P910i £40 from Vodafone when the contract came up for renewal so I'm doubly pleased. And I can get several DVD's squeezed on to it for travel entertainment - not while driving of course ! LOL0 -
