No sound through speakers - help!

Have now tried it without much success! Get message stating: "The soundcard in the system is not properly installed. Reinstall the soundcard and try again " - but HOW???Titch

Try uninstalling the Sound Blaster software :-
Start>All Programs>SoundBlaster>Uninstall
Or if its not in there :-
Start>Control Panel>Add Remove Programs>Sound Blaster Drivers>Remove
Then uninstall the sound card as before but before you restart the computer put the Driver disk in the CD drive, restart.
Then tell us what happens.I love my spell checker, it stops me making all sorts of stupid smelling mistakes. :doh:0
