Have tried to start using my breadmaker a few times, the problem is the dough does not appear to be mixing together and is coming out where you can clearly see the " joins" like a kid has been mixing plasticine, would really like to start using this again, any ideas?

    Is the blade inside? :)

Have you looked at the troubleshooting section of the user guide?

I found it happened to mine when I put the water in last, now I always put it in first.
Or if I forgot to put the paddle in and remembered halfway through :o

No response for 50 minutes and you are bumping the thread already? Pathetic.

Oddly enough it takes a real effort of will to be this unpleasant. Sometimes, though, it's worth it.

Are the inside of the paddle and the spindle it fits on free of dried on bread?Sometimes mine gets a bit gunked up and I poke a metal skewer through it.Also perhaps try using a little extra water, sometimes it can need it if its warm weather, and be sure your yeast is not out of date. Thats all I can think of but HTH.

Thanks, there may be some bread there,i though I had heard others say that was supposed to help initially, but the spindle seems to be turning freely,I will have a go just in case that is the cause.
