Dodgy 3 upgrade call

Hi there,
I introduced my mum to three a while ago. Just before my upgrade time, I started getting calls from people saying "I'm calling from three(normal voice) communication upgrades (quiet voice)" i.e. they were not from three. I ignored them but my mother hasn't. They called last week, and she assumed they were from three, agreed a deal (not a good one, I might add), and gave her bank details. She was told by law that they must phone her back after 72 hours to read her contract agreement over the phone. In the intervening period, she told me this, and I told her not to agree to it. When they phoned back, she said she wanted more time to consider the agreement ( I don't think at that point she believed people might be trying to scam her). She then got a text saying that her phone would be delivered two days after her upgrade date (in November!) and that her bank account had been charged £30 as agreed (no such agreement had been made). I have phoned the number she was given to try and cancel the contract - spoke to the building's secretary 'Oh, I'm sorrry sir, so and so is unavailable at the moment' etc. etc. Was told they would call her back within a few days to sort the cancellation. This has, unsuprisingly, not happened. Also, in one of the texts they sent her, they gave an email address queries@threeupgrade (but with no .co.uk, .com etc). Am gonna try ringing again today, but don't hold out much hope. Any thoughts or advice?
Cheers,
Joe

Don't accept any delivery. If this is done, it will be impossible to get out of, as they'll state her payment details were provided willingly, proving the debt. (Upgrades are exempt from the usual 14-day approval period).0

Yeah, I guess. Would kind of like to sort it before November though. Will keep trying.0
