i also bought one of these sky starter pack from carphonewarehouse. £9.99

i also had the same problem as mark_ice.

there was no code inside only the remote.

i called the number on the box and the sky rep i spoke to was fine and said i could have the offer anyway and he only took the reciept details ie... brach purchased, date bought and the reciept number. he also said this had happened loads of times before, no codes in boxes!!!

i now have my sky being installed next friday! hope this helps!

Anyone know of a better way to get British Eurosport? Or am I gonna have to lump it and try this deal???

Eurosport (not British Eurosport) is still FTA on 19.1E in analogue (for now?), so you'd need an analogue/digital receiver (or old analogue-only if still working). IIRC there are some FTA digital versions but only German audio. Check Lyngsat http://www.lyngsat.com/ for what is where.
