went to venue last night for final meeting
they gave us the final bill- which was less than we thought so that was good
also told us i can set the room up from 4pm on the friday
they are happy with putting gift bags for the staying guests in their rooms
and they told me i could take anything i needed to for them to store from now on

Picking up my dress at 1.10 and taking it to my cbm to hang up in her house
going to my uncles printers this afternoon and telling him how many order of the plan i need- and giving him the table plan to do

Tomorrow night i have the best man coming over so i can tell him all the final details

well what a lovely day!
work had a suprise party/buffet for my and oh it was lovely- loads of pressies, balloons, and party food

then went to pick up wedding dress and took it to my cbms she loved the dress- first time she has seen it

also got my engagement cleaned - for free
picked up my veil- had it steamed- and took to cbms house

went to uncles printers at 2-- at 4.30 recieved an email with the proof of the table plan and order of the day was very impressed

feell great- relaxed at the mo

Aw, glad it's all going well for you Sammy! Pretty chilled for me too at the moment. Went to see Bridesmaid's last night, which made me laugh, and look forward to it even more!! 2 weeks on Sunday - eeeek!

Think we are in the same position...

Paid the venue their balance on tuesday, and have got all the money transferred out of savings now. Going to put the money in envelopes for those people who want paying on the day (hairdresser, DJ etc)

The owners of the venue are absolutely lovely :j Can't do enough to help out and answered all my questions that I wanted, and all the answers were the same or better than I was hoping for!! Feeling very pleased about how everything is going.

Have started organising people who are staying over to come for sunday lunch with us the day after, to kind of continue the party So thats really lovely that it won't all just end on the saturday night. Me and my OH have time off after the wedding, and we don't go on honeymoon til 3 weeks after the wedding, so we want to make the most of people being around.

Only 9 sleeps left now - single figures :j:j:j

Oh, and can anyone help with how I upload photos. Have never done it on here before. I didn't want to do the photobox thing. How do people get the photo to show up in the actual message rather than a link to somewhere?? Am a bit of a numpty with these things!

OMG, just read the last few comments on this thread and now my heart is pounding away! 2 weeks tomorrow- everything is sorted, just got to make some tags for the wishing tree, and the usual collecting of 'stuff' like suits!

Hen Day (and night!) tomorrow- wish me luck... and I need to be at church on Sunday as we missed the banns being read last week.

Been busy baking tonight, have 15 litres of Pimms to get to the coach Bed for me now...
