Starting to panic about the weather for Saturday now - looks great Mon - Fri and rain Sat!

Off to collect fireworks tonight - my family does a lot of work for the owner so hes not charging me which was a pleasant surprise!

Tuesday:Meeting videographer

Wednesday: Church rehearsal

Thursday: Hair and last night with my fiance!

Friday: Pick up cake, drop bits to venue, manicure and pedicure, pick up cup cakes from SIL and hopefully go to the cinema to see bridesmaids.

Saturday: Wedding!!!!!

Was slightly irritated earlier, as my ex decided to get engaged this weekend, and rang me to let me know that our daughter was 'full of bridesmaid' stories about their wedding following her weekend with him. Thought the timing was a little insensitive, given that its only 2 weeks to our wedding, and he wanted to get her all excited about his wedding (approximately scheduled for March 2013)

But she was still ever so excited about our plans, and we have chatted loads about the wedding tonight, and she barely mentioned her dads wedding. So I calmed down from my potential bridezilla moment. What a pillock tho!

Going to pay the venue tomorrow. :T Its all real then, lol!! Going to get all the money out for like the DJ and put it in an envelope ready for the day so I don't start worrying about that nearer the time.

Tidied up the wedding room today and started taking things round my mums, as I will be at her house the night before. Everything seems to be coming together and getting sorted out.

Have got loads of props as we are doing a very budget version of a photo booth, ie you take yr own photos, lol!! Tis still very exciting and I have got some funky dressing up stuff at poundland etc. Me and my daughter were trying them all on tonight and seeing which ones we liked best :rotfl:

I'm 30th July too but seem to have got lost since the original list!!

Picked up the altered bridesmaids dresses- the lady has done a brilliant job and only charged £10 for each dress

Final dress fitting/ pick up tomorrow- I'm wagging off work (with permission!) to go and get it sorted. Everything else is just about sorted and sitting on the dining room table ready to go. Cheque for the hotel has been paid, familymoon finally got booked (still waiting on redundancy news- have been since Feb!), hen day on Saturday! The weekend was spent shopping for 'bits'- clothes, beach towels, suncream etc. Bought Jagermeister as an extra for two of the ushers. Painted the kitchen, a wall in the living room, the stairs, wall at the top of the landing and taped up the 15-pane glass panelled door in the kitchen to paint too. Why does it take a wedding in less than 3 weeks to get my house in order?!! Bedroom rearranged to make more room (which reminds me, I need to find a decent full length mirror!)

My Mum told me tonight that I'm looking skinny and gaunt (so I've had double tea!)- wouldn't mind if I'd been on a deliberate stupid diet but I've started eating just about what I fancy, although I do go to the gym for an hour 5 or 6 times a week! We'll see whether or not my dress needs taking in more tomorrow! H2B found a pic of me from 2008 and I'm now a stone lighter. I obviously see something very different to other people when I look in the mirror!

congrats to all the married ladies!

my wedding dress FINALLY arrived today! fits perfectly, although a bit big round the boobs so that needs altering. I actually loved it, so am feeling less nervous about my appearance now. Becuase it was delayed so long the shop said not to worry about paying the balance - so I've saved £325! :money:
Everything done and paid except the live band who want paying on the night, order of service needs printing and will be making the flowers friday night, getting excited now!

Aww Lynne I am so sorry to hear that I hope you get everything you need to sorted and try not to stress about little things (might go off and try to take my own advice now....) x x x
