I thought that the unpleasant days of a few months ago had passed but oh no. Why is it that personal abuse has to hurled around?

No idea. Some bears (not naming names) have been swearing at fellow board members of late.
Recent house price increases may have increased their stress levels.

2nd post, more finger pointing, and down we go from here.

I'll give a slightly moist rolo and a pack of rancid peanuts to the person who correctly judges how many posts there will be on this thread until it's locked.

Well done, first reply and a completely unwarranted generalised attack.

I attempted to state the truth without attacking an individual.

It is sad that some posters are attempting to sensationalize an innocent comment and finger point.

I disagree that the thread had "descended into personal abuse" as the person who locked it claimed. It had a few wee digs in it but nothing too serious. Getting a wee bit over moderated this forum in my opinion.

The original thread had merit in that it highlighted that many of the bears on here made outlandish claims in an effort to talk the market down in line with their personal VIs. Indicating that fact and how way out their claims were may make some of them think twice about posting such rubbish on this forum again. Then again most of the bears will just create sock puppets and have them do their dirty work for them.
