Its for contract phones. They dont display tariffs or the monthly cost. Id avoid them unless your happy to sigm up for something when you dont know what your getting or know what the cost will be.

I just called them first they wanted me to sign up for a £40 a month contract , which is the highest one on Orange. I told them it was too much and they let me have one for £30, with a free handset.

I failed the credit check on the orange website, so i am baffled as to how they can accept me. In fact they never even mentioned a credit check. Just asked for my card number so they can verify my Identity. (will be cancelling that card asap)

Will keep you posted with how I get on.....

Phone arrived today, so everything seems to be ok. Friendly service from these guys.
  • BE WARY! They ask for your bank details before you even know what you are paying for. I have emailed them and asked why but they just say that the networks they work with ask for bank details. Don't know about anyone else, but in 10 years of owning mobiles, probably around 6 contracts and others on PAYG no one has EVER asked me for my bank details BEFORE I know what I am paying for! Steer clear if you have any sense, and if you can't get a contract because you fail the credit check - go PAYG. Its cheaper and better, and you can get a decent handset 2nd hand off ebay if you really want something flashy.

These people work alongside all the big telecoms companies. They get your information from you not checking the 'receive information from third parties'. The telelcoms companies send your info on so that they can contact you.

I recently tried applying for a contract phone (fed up with having to top up and phone calls cutting out halfway through a convo!) but my credit was not so good (big thanx to teenage son!!:() I tried with orange, Vodafone & T-mobile. Needless to say they all rejected me.

A week later i was contacted via phone by worry free mobiles. As i had not heard of them, i asked them how they got their info etc and what they were about.
They dont post prices on their website as they differ from person to person (ie depending on credit status), but they offer a way for people with bad credit to obtain a contract mobile and build their credit rating by offering a sim only plan.
The best one for me was with 3 Mobile @£30 (1500mb data usage, 5000 3to3 minutes, 5000 texts & 2000 minutes to all other landlines/mobiles)

You start with a sim only, but are contacted after paying your third monthly bill, with a choice of free mid-range mobile phones. After your 12 monthly payment you are invited to renew your contract or opt for a cheaper one and can have any phone you want (top of the range included!! for free)

I have just paid my third bill and chose Nokia E5, which i received 2 days ago. Brilliant phone for free (and all three of my payments were slightly late as payday always fell 3 days after bill due)

I have found 3 Customer service quite good:T. As i said earlier i was late with my payments, so i would get a phone call on the day after it was due and would explain my payday was 2 days away and rather than cutting me off (which was always the case with vodafone & orange when i was with them) they took me at my word and didnt cut me off!!

Worryfreemobiles are good people in my opinion, they helped me raise my credit rating in just 3 months and they get paid byt the telecoms company for their work, so it doesnt cost me anything to go down their route rather than payg (i was paying £60 a month for payg for calls!!)

i hope this helps anyone reading this!!

Also forgot to add, they will ask you for bank details but this is simply to set up your direct debit.
If you want to do this yourself just tell them you will set it up!!
