If it is MSE to waste £20,000 on a car, I must be missing something, especially a Seat of all things.
  • i've just read this thread and can't believe how it turned out.

this could have been easily solved if someone had just told sparklygemster to take a look at the cards/loans tab at the top of the page. in there is a cheap loans section with a link to the best rates of loans depending on the amount of money you want to borrow.

i did that and got a tesco loan for the money i wanted at 8.0% within a week.

    it really is that simples.

Thanks!!! Someone that finally talks sense!!!

Thats all we wanted!!! none of this can afford/cant afford rubbish!!!!!

    The Crazy £100 Clothes Challenge #20 - Spent £53.72/£100

This concerns me. You cannot afford more than £100 on clothes, yet your OH can waste £20000 on a car. Methinks you need to look at the balance in your relationship?
    Gone ... or have I?

Ask the question that you need answering without all of the rest of the detail/s.

That way you may get a simple answer, telling people that you are about to spend £20.000 that you don't have on a Seat, of all things, is red rag to a bull on a site that is titled MSE.;)
