Memory card for nokia 6303

Hi,

Please could someone tell me what memory card to use in a nokia 6303?

Will a microsd high capacity card work fine?

also whats the maxium i should use?

The spec is actually for MicroSD not MicroSDHC...

It probably does take high capacity but plenty of confusion see here

Best to check with nokia themselves maybe through their site - putting in the wrong card may not damage the phone but it could blow the memory card (just maybe..)

After reading the link posted by OneADay above, I thought I'd go for it an am glad I did.

Hope this helps; I just tried a Transend branded 8Gb Class 6 micro SDHC card in mine ..and it works fine.
(It came with an adapter to use as a standard SDHC card for £17.99; amazon)

I can read/write to the card no probs, so far ! Can have the phone's camera and voice record functions record to the card without issue.
Music or videos can be stored on the card which then can be played in the media player.

Bottom line: I can confirm the card which I bought, an 8Gb microSDHC card -works for me in my Nokia 6303 which I got at Tesco -when they were doing the 1,000 clubcard points offer THANKS MSE btw, you saved me a fortune ! ( I got the £20 free top up too for some unknown reason ).
At present am saving up for a 16Gb card as that should work in the 6303!
(as should 32Gb, though as mentioned in the link- The question is: If the Nokia OS will recognize 32Gb or not)

- for now though the 8Gb microSDHC class 6 is doing me just fine -I've got a couple movies and 3 Gb of music on it at present, so ye.. works .
