Why is Flight Checker not picking up certain cheap flights?

Hi All

I was hoping somebody could tell me why Flight Checker is not capturing cheap flights below £20 from London to MJV.

As at today I can still see these low cost flights including tax and other charges on both the Skyscanner and Ryanair sites (for example in October) but Flight Checker returns a blank results set, why? :j

BTW I have observed this several times recently :A

I've noticed this too and thought it was maybe to do with the last time the fares were checked by Flightchecker. Quite often it comes up saying "Last checked XXX hours ago" (i.e. over a hundred, sometimes several hundred - divide it by 24 and you have the number of days ago). In the case of Ryanir where they often change offer prices twice a week, the Flightchecker system doesn't seem to get a chance to catch up.

I considered that but even taking that factor into account it doesn't explain the price deltas and the exclusion of certain flights. For example in my case one specific flight I was interested in showed as £8 outbound on both Skyscanner and Ryanair's site for 2 weeks yet still on 4 occasions during that period Flight Checker did not return this flight in its result set ;-))

    Hi All

I tried to email the webmaster about this issue but I received an "auto-email" canned response. Any ideas how to highlight the above issue with the webmaster?

Surely it is easy to search for them on www.ryanair.com and www.easyJet.com/en getting the price from the horses's mouths so to speak?

Yes but tools such as Skyscanner or Flight Checker should provide a consolidated picture across carriers......see the benefit......

I always go with the Horses's Mouths, much more useful.
