    Thursday already..........

DS2 is off to an all day all night party for someones 16th, paintballing this morning followed by a party in the house then a sleepover.....I have already checked that the girls will be sleeping upstairs and the boys downstairs:rolleyes:

    List for today....
    • Go to work
    • Come home, make dinner (something easy)
    • Go to Slimming World
Not much time to do anything else really.

I really need to get a move on with the 7lbs I need to lose to get to target as I am now paying £4.50 a week for group, when I reach target it is free.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Hi Lou, good luck today. I will join you in my FB and MSE scarcity for these next few weeks too. But before I go check this out, I love it and maybe relevant (if you're a French basher) considering we declared war with Germany 70 years ago today:

A U.S.. Navy Admiral was attending a naval conference that included Admirals from the U.S. , English, Canadian, Australian and French Navies.. At a cocktail reception, he found himself standing with a large group of Officers that included personnel from most of those countries.
Everyone was chatting away in English as they sipped their drinks but a French admiral suddenly complained that, whereas Europeans learn many languages, Americans learn only English. He then asked, 'Why is it that we always have to speak English in these conferences rather than speaking
    French?'
Without hesitating, the American Admiral replied 'Maybe it's because the Brits, Canadians, Aussies and Americans
arranged it so you wouldn't have to speak German.'

You could have heard a pin drop.

Well I didnt lose or gain anything this week so I have put a "holiday" in for next week to avoid paying the £4.50 so I hopefully will make some inroads into the 7lbs I need to lose by then.

Things seem to be working out OK at work as we have alot more students this year than last gives me a bit of a feeling of security in my job.

    Nowt else really, just knackered.
