Morning, I have a bit of a queasy tummy after my small glass of wine ended up turning into half a bottle, what can I say? It was a mighty fine Merlot.

I shall be fine after a bowl of all bran and a few cuppas.

Ebay sales finish this morning not sure how they will do although they all have bids on them but for very low values.

    List for today......
    • sort out banking
    • send cheques to CC
    • flylady
    • take DS1 for haircut
    • buy some envelopes for Ebay sales and Birthday gift for MIL
See you all in a bit.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Depending what you've sold on ebay, you don't need to buy envelopes. Go to the Post office and ask for special delivery bags, turn them inside out and you've got a sturdy plastic bag/envelope for free. They're perfect for books, where you don't need padding but need them to keep dry.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Oh thanks for that tip Ames, I shall do that:T

5 books went for £22 in total which is a bit dissapointing seeing as though they are brand new would cost £23 each in a shop, saying that I paid nothing for them so its all bonus money.

One person is in Malta though and has bought 2 books, will have to find out what the postage is I dont want to end up out of pocket.

OH takes £1.50 a day for coffee and takes a packed lunch, they arent allowed to have a kettle:rolleyes: so he has to use the machines, he is having 6 cups a day at 25p which I do agree is alot.

    Can't he take a flask?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

No, no...don't take a flask of coffee - take a flask of hot water. Make the tea/coffee fresh each time.

Also don't take one of those "easy pour" flasks - they don't keep stuff as warm.

Pre-heating the flasks does make a surprising amount of difference to how hot the water is inside.

i used to take a flask of made up tea with milk to work. i filled the flask with really hot water from the kettle and let it stand while i made the tea. i found it kept hot all day. The thing is you must make sure you tighten the screw top of the flask down well, each time you pour a drink.
