hope you had a good day yesterday at the park. If you don't fancy ebay how about doing a car boot? I see lots of folks there with kids stuff and it seems to sell well.
I'm like you i'd rather give stuff away to get rid of it quickly rather than spend the time trying to sell it. I was just about to put something on freecycle, and thought 'oh i'll just put it on the boards at work' and i sold it within the day. They got a bargain, and i got rid of it and something to put in the savings tin so i'm glad i did it.0 -
Hello
Was very pleased with myself yesterday when i got up i made a few phone calls to get these debts sorted out, i contacted the mortgage and i am paying the arreas in full this morning :j i also rang about the 3 catalogues made an arrangement for 2 of them one of which is only going to take 6 mths, the other one has been passed on to a different company bit angry with myself about this but i will just have to wait to here. Still need to ring about my hubbys bits from when he was self employed so i will try to sort that this morning.
I was all chuffed with myself and felt so much better that i was dealing with problem when my husband shows me the letter he recived in the post.........a fine for £60 for driving in the bus lane aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh will i ever manage to get it all straight when i have him always being fined for something it feels like  he is a wonderful huuby and daddy but sometimes he do make me angry, he seems to think i can sort everything for him.
I went to tesco yesterday to get some shopping and ended up spending £55 i had hardly anything for this, this is an area i really need to look at and reduce i do do meal plans but dont always stick to them then i always go back for more!!!!!
Anyway moaned enough now off to town this morning to pay the mortgage and council tax, i signed up for internet banking yesterday so that should make things easier.
Hope you all have a good day:DLBM Aug o9

Just a quick update before we go on holiday....yay!!
Have spent a bit of money in the last few days but def not as bad as i would have done before my LBM, i would have brought what ever i wanted and thought i will worry about it after the holiday, where now i have been shopping around more and thinking do we really need it!!!! not added at all to the debt kept in budget with some leftover which i am going to pay the council tax with tommorrow, so i am well pleased with myself.
I had a chat with my dh and he agrees that we need to sort this problem with the debt, we will see how that goes as i am sure it will get on his nerves long before mine lol.
Will try to update if i can before i go if not speak to u all after xLBM Aug o9

Bless them ah, he says thats fine i dont need any money but as soon as he aint got fags or money in his pocket he hates it lol,he just cant be trusted with money or a bank card, he has a heart of gold and just wants to buy stuff for me and the kiddies but cant afford to all the time!!
Yeah i am really pleased with myself for not adding to it, and am looking forward to getting all sorted with it when we are back, but also have a heavy month as its dd3 birthday and my mums 50th, so money will need to be spent, not sure how much to spend on dd3 it will be her 3rd bday think i will have to have a look around when were back xxLBM Aug o9
