ETA
It's changed BACK...spooky
ETA again (having caught up) I think Crafty and I are in a parallel universe ooo eerrr
Been shopping with new New Look storecard (ouch) and Credit card (bigger ouch - but for financial planning purposes LOL)
Went in New Look fist (with 20% voucher) DD has instructions to select something appropriate for wedding (ie a frock LOL)
saw 1 frock
picked up 1 frock
tried on 1 frock
bought 1 frock
looked at bracelets/necklaces and chose bracelet v. quickly.
DS was warned that this is NOT normal female shopping behaviour so not to get any silly ideas BUT apparently he knew this - a crowd from school had gone shopping and the boys were dragged into Primark 6 times with shops in between! Apparently the boys got fed up at this point then went elsewhere :rotfl:
On a flying note I did take the unwanted bedding and some bits to charity shop...
DS now has new bag for school for September. previous one looked very punk, held together with safety pins. saw a lovely purse (I need a new one) but it was £19.99 so I sighed and put it back...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Lol crafty!
LL - glad to hear your pud is coping well with the injections. It's something I never thought I could do but before you know it you just do it without thinking don't you. Glad to hear you're not making the bed again.....I never do it...I strip and wash (the bed that is!!!) and DH makes it again :rotfl:.
In my HHC I;
- reorganised all the shoes on the shelves in the porch
- took the mats out and beat them against the outside wall of the house
- vacuumed the floor
- tidied up the storage boxes for hats etc
- tidied up the pegs with bags, umbrellas etc
It looks sooooooooo much better - it's probably the best organised room of the house and is only about 2 feet by 4 feet in size!
Then I;
- brushed and vaccuumed the downstairs of the house
- raced into garden to rescue the lawn from a digging stripey dog!!!
- transferred a load of charity bag stuff into a new charity bag that's collecting tomorrow!
- s/s clinic for client tonight.
Now i'm going to finish the living room and then do my 60 in 60. Also need to take DD for a hair cut and take them to the park for an hour or so. Might even buy them an icecream as i'm sure aliens have taken them over - they are getting on sooooooooo well and have just come in to say how much they like each other!!!! Wierd! xx0 -
Ooops - a big welcome back funfairprincess xx0
-
I wish they'd just leave it alone lol Defo a man fiddling with it.
It's raining! can't do the grass now-shame! Brought all the washing in tho before it got too wet. I'm off for a snooze can't keep awake any longer, must have been all the stress today with the car/phoning peeps etc, got enough bacci for 1 more ciggie so I'll have that when I wake up then go to the shop for more. Sounds like a plan.
laters x
Oh and Rosepink you shouldn't have to be going and sitting in the truck to have a cry - that's very sad
Happy Birthday Mozzy and I think it was SSL's the other day? Happy Belated Birthday to you x0 -
house doesn't look too bad dh and kids kept having a look on here to see what needed doing - it's not up to my mam's standard but then again it never will be:rotfl:zoelikesjam wrote: »OMGoshness!!!! Need to iron but CBA.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Not done anything yesterday or today so it's about time I started. We've been to the library this morning and the girls have both had their hair cut. For DD2 it was her first haircut, she's 2 1/2 but wouldn't let them near her last time. It took some coaxing and distraction but she did let them do it this time. She's only had a tiny bit trimmed off it but its a start. Also looked after my niece and nephew for a couple of hours but they've gone now so time to fly.
