Evening campers :) I just had to share these with you, before I read through the thread.

I picked the red ones this morning, and the yellow ones just now after watering :) I am really pleased with these, plus I have loads more growing :) Apologies about photo size..tried resizing but the darn thing wouldn't play ball

  • Thanks Jo, can't believe we've achieved so much over two days to be honest. We moved in two weeks ago, and with OH at work all last week it took me four days just to get DS's box'ish room done :( However, whilst i painted the bathroom yest Jase white washed the hall, and then today i've done the bottom he's done the top. I was told to stop but honestly i couldnt so i got the toilet done as well. I'm suffering for it now though, I'm curled up on the sofa with an ice pack on my hip and my knee up on my special suport. Looking at me you;d think i'd done fifty rounds with a boxer! However i'm so glad they are now done. The hallway looks lovely, it was awful, it was blue(dark) and chocolate brown....it is now a more pretty shade of stone and creamy colours...just the woodwork to do tomorrow before the carpet comes tuesday! The bathroom was lime green, ewwwwww....Its now a Latte colour, same as the loo. I swear i've never seen so much dust. I honestly couldnt believe the state of behind the radiators and the pipes in the loo....it was grosssssssssssssssssssss. And to think the lady that lived here was a nurse! Nice. Anyways....Ive got the wood work and kitchen, then just a lick of magnolia in the lounge to freshen it up. Thankfully DH is on morning shift all week so will be home at 1, so if i find tomorrow im still suffering he can do it haha.
I've finished fridays list too, can i have a star please Toots! x

    Welcome home Pen-Pen

Natts - love the tomatoes - they're like mine. They are slowly ripening one at a time which is nice. I'm finding it quite novel to go out to the garden and pluck a ripe tomato to eat

kaz, I like FB. I keep in touch with friends I don't see much and I have got in touch with people I haven't seen for years through it, including family I had lost contact with. I can share photos with friends and family easily too. I like the games on it when I have the time. I don't like the odd skeleton that pops up but easy ignored. Oh and I can use it on my phone free.
Welcome home smelly Peny, I mean Penny with the smelly cheese :D :P

Right, house is ready apart from shoveling what I swept up (I had no shovel) for the carpet fitters tomorrow. Matthew and his parents have been over helping again :D Matthew running off with things we needed definately entertaining. His stair gate fits perfectly so thats sorted lol, DS1 said we should put him in the cupboard under the stairs. Bathroom floor needs the fiddly cutty bits doing so his Dad is finishing that tomorrow, Matthew's Mam emptied some of his toy boxes so I can borrow the boxes as we don't have many and got some off her sister who moved today too, bagged 3 bin bags of clothes to go over, took 2 boxes of kitchen stuff & emptied them, not going too bad.

Tonight I need to - pack for going away tomorrow haha, fill the cars ready (taking both so I can sort fitters out first and follow DP down to Yorkshire) pack some more, order my DW as I wanted to double check the size :D I can have a full size one :D

Hugs all round to those who need/want one xxx
One day I might be more organised...........
