I think we heard you. You do know forum boards' etiquette I trust!
I just looked at the ST web sire and compared and the combined water suppy and sewerage disposal charges are broadly comparable with the tariffs of Bournemouth Water (Supply) and Wessex water (Disposal) that I have ro pay.
You may be aggrieved by the rate of increases, but it should be realised that for 5 years 05/06 to 10/11 there are special permitted rises to improve infrastructure etc.0 -
Is jellybabies a nom-de-plume for Victor , or perhaps Victoria, Meldrew?0

sorry about the noise....im fairly new at this computer lark!!
but anyway,i dont know if this is well known but if you have a water meter, pop a plastic bottle of water into the cistern and save a few pence every flush...
make sure you rest the bottle where it wont interfere with the mechanical parts though
oops..i dont believe it!! i thought i was making the letters smaller rather than bigger!!!!!!!!!!
fluffed it yet again....apologies...yet again.0 -
You can cut down on your water bills slightly by only washing up when you have a full sink, only doing clothes washing when you have a washing machine full, taking quick showers instead of baths and by measuring out water for making drinks.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Powdered water?
