Creases In Photo's?

Hi just wondering if there was any free software that can get rid of the look of creases in old photo's?

I don't know of any reliable automatic fix for this problem but most image editing software includes a "clone brush" which is how I'd fix this.
One of the best free image edit programs is the Gimp. There is now a windows version as well as Linux - http://www.gimp.org/windows/

Hi downloaded 'Gimp' but within the toolbox I can't use 'clone tool & healing tool' just a stp sign next to when I try using?

Have you created a "copy" of the image first you cannot alter any "original" image but work on a duplicate I work with "layers", so create a new layer and work on that. Saving the retouched and still have the original. Have you selected a "start" here point the copy from area?0

Hi & thx 'am new to this photo editing Yes copied original to hard drive, just these 2 tools that won't work tried also opening in layers? same thing. Must be mejoe2cool0
