Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to deal with Vodafone i am so furious with them
I have an upgraded phone which is roughly 2 1/2 mths old stopped charging so sent it off to be repaired got it back hey ho two weeks later same thing again.Rang customers services word i use very loosely and got no where we will repair it again well i happened to look at some reviews on the phone rather late but what stood out greatly was the amount of people with the same phone same ongoing problem all extremly fed up when i pointed this out phone was put down on me hmm point rather proved i think
I pointed out i live 20 miles from nearest vodafone shop posting it is waste time you wait ages for one there lovely bags wait ages for phone back so i said why cant you just admit there problem with phone and swap no it got to go wrong third time
I have emailed complaints doubt it will work i am so annoyed that i want out my contract but it has 16mths left great but i would want my landline cost of calls hanging on hold for obscene amouts of time plus the sheer inconvience.
One agent pointed out to me well the phone not part of the contract so it my choice repair or nothing i thought the whole idea of contract included phone so you can upgraded or that me being dense :rotfl:
Anyhow has anyone ever had this and got vodafone to either replace phone or clear contract for minimum fee i will persist i dont back down easily but any advice would be great
TIA

Would be excellent if this was sorted at the moment i feel like taking a sledge hammer to it and taking it in to the nearest vodafone and depositing on their counter even if means a fourty mile trip
but i wont because i feel they should replace it.

If you've had the phone for less than 2 years it should be covered my standard manufacturer warranty.
Contact the manufacturer of the phone, and you may be able to drop it into one of their stores if you don't want to wait to post it.
Did this with my SE W800i and Samsung E900 without any issues after 13 and 15 months of having each phone.Try to imagine nothing ever existed...0 -
Hi doodlesmum
I'm not Lee but I hope I'll do!
It's unfortunate that you are still having difficulties with your phone.
Fork86 is right if you would prefer not to use our repair service you can go directly through the manufacturer.
I'd like to see if there is anything I can do to help you though. Send and email from the Contact Us form with a link to this thread and your details including the code WRT135 in the body of the text and I'll see what I can do.
Thanks
