ive just bought a HP pavilion its the exact same spec as that one but £50 cheaper, i got mine from currys.

    idealy you should aim for,

intel centrino (AMD is ok if not)
    512 ram (minimum)
    60gb HD (minimum)
128 grfx (shared ram on a laptop)

Mesh don't have the best customer services in the world.
When I ordered a desktop from them in January I was given a delivery date of 3 weeks, they rang on the eve of the delivery date at 6.00pm and told my 14 year old daughter it was'nt going to get delivered. They did'nt even give a reason why or bother asking for me by name.
I cancelled my order after searching for mesh computers online and finding lots of bad reports about them in various forums.

Mesh support is often complained about but I've bought a couple of PCs from them and never had any reason to contact support and I'm in no way a computer wizard! I also have a Mesh laptop (although it's actually a rebadged Mitac) which has been problem free. If you go for Mesh and run into problems then there is a Mesh forum on another website (can't remember where but I'm sure you'll find it) which is probably the best place to get help.

Having said that I've just bought a Dell laptop as they were so cheap and so far I'm very impressed for the price so you may want to have a look at them too.
