Experian

I have heard of this happening, no credit search with Experian just a linked address created on the date the credit search took place on. In this case it has always been the case the credit search was showing on Equifax, apparently there is more to Experian than meets the eye.
Thats where i'm coming from mate, what I suspect is that they done a full search using current address on Equifax then spotted the link and so searched both CRA's for the linked address (covers fraud easier by searching all previous and linked addresses across all CRA's) which has therefore left a footprint under linked address for Experian and not a full search. Remember though Experian are slow at times so it may appear next week if it was recent, i.e. late last week....

There is a link from Tesco on the day I applied, it does show my current address & linked to previous one. File does not show credit search from Tesco. On my equifax report, there are no linked addresses, just my current and previous 2 in my details. No Tesco credit search on equifax either.0

I have checked again Equifax, only current and 2 previous addresses on my "details entered" section, in link addresses (empty)0

At the top of your report is there a list of different ways your current address can appear?
EdiL it maybe the case there is more than one way of entering it, but they are not linked (not the same as links to past addresses) so your whole file is not being displayed on screen.0 -
I applied last week of July so it would appear on my file...0

You're being way too vague forcing us to ask question after question mate!
Can you confirm, on your credit report (Experian) under addresses, you have your current address, then your previous address right? So, how many addresses show under previous addresses (this will cover the last 6yrs).....
Then,
Further down the report you see linked addresses, of these, the only ones that should show is your previous addresses and nothing else. So, you have lived at 5 houses in the last 5 years = 5 linked addresses. The cannot be anything like 141 so please elaborate.
Its hard to answer the tesco question cos we dont know if it is a previous address, a linked previous address, a linked address, an incorrect linked address, how long you lived there, which linked address it is (i.e. house 2 or 5)
see what I mean - you need to be giving lots more info matey - or even better, email experian and ask them.
You need to get the linked addresses sorted out, they should be listed like the previous address history on page 1 of Experian in the same format as well, 141 would mean each credit provider listing a new link each account - that is incorrect they all link to one address.

It is like you could live at:
Flat 1/2, 15 anystreet, anytown, post code
and this appears on credit expert
but the company who did the search used
Flat 12, 15 anystreet
or
Flat 12 15, anystreet
If you look at all of the linked addresses that have been created, does each of the variation of your current address appear at the top of the screen. That is a better way of putting it.0 -

I have a couple of variations like that on my credit report. I'm linked to my current address 2 times lol. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
indeed, that could be what is wrong with the OP's file in which case they will need to call Experian on Monday and ask for all of the variations of their current address to be added.0

easy to sort mate, send a quick email advising them to erase one of the addresses and just confirm the correct variation and they will change it for you so both match.
