taking o2 number to vodafone

do you get charged for taking old number from o2 to a vodafone,and how do you do this?

    Don't think they have any charges - you ask O2 for a PAC number, then Voda does all the change over for you.

    BUT... I'll ask this....Why are you going to Vodafone - we'll shortly change Mrs V's Voda, to O2.

    There seem to be few 'deals' to tempt anyone to choose them over ANY other netorks, even 18month contracts seem poor value,

    Unless it's a reception issue (which ours was until recently) I'd get an O2 deal somehow!!

    its a payg for my daughter and she likes the thought of the vodafone £5 text packs etc,shes still at school and its cheaper for her
