PAC help
Hi
Will try and make this short but first time I have changed contracts.
Contract was with t-mobile. Given PAC when I left (well contract does not end until 22nd August)
Got monthly contract with O2 through Carphone Warehouse. Received phone last week and realised it is not for me! (I know don't ask!) Want to cancel Carphone Warehouse contract (should be simple enough according to T & C)
Want to buy a different phone (again network with 02) but though a different 3rd party provider.
What is the situation with the PAC. If I order a phone this weekend online is it the same PAC I use .. or does it mean anytime I change contracts I receive a different PAC?
Can anyone help? I tried to Google it but too much confusing info
Many many thanks if anyone can help..

Hi, I would think it depends if you used the PAC or not. From past experience once you have given the PAC to the new network and the'port' has started then the transfer cannot be stopped. If you have not used the PAC it is still useable. If you have used it and then cancelled the new contract you will probably have lost your original number. It might just depend on how helpful o2 are.As for cancelling the Carphone Warehouse contract it should be ok if it is within 14 days and you have not used the phone. ( Activated the SIM by making a call.)0
