URGENT: SE Asian Flood Disaster - Donate Money

Looks like retailers are starting to get the right idea, https://www.7dayshop.com are giving £1 for every order placed so lets hope that more places follow - especially the bigger highstreet retailers.
Forget https://www.7dayshop.com being generous and giving £1 for every order - all they have done is to add £1 onto the shipping charges so actually it is you donating the money - they are doing nothing and getting good advertisement for it >:(:j :j0 -
Hi,
I've just made a donation to DEC online. At least I think I have - I entered all the details & clicked the 'Make payment' (or similar, not quite sure of the wording) but then I got The page could not be displayed' page! Does anyone know if that would have gone through or should I try again please?0 -

Unless you want to risk paying again (a good thing lol) I would leave it, usually the payment is taken for example when I ordered something from studio I got the error page and so tried a few more times and got 4 orders so it should be fine as like I said it usually goes through in my experiance:j :j0 -

Wouldn't touch them!!!
Why - do they keep a high % of the dosh?? They are the ones being backed up by another forum so thats why I posted here. Do you know of anywhere else instead?? Thanks:j :j0 -
I personally think it be worthwhile donating through DEC which represents 12+ charitable agencies who are all working together, but again, the final decision is your own in the end - as long as the help reaches the people in most need that is what counts most now.0

I have read that a website has been set-up by the rock group Linkin Park, it's called Music for Relief and aims to bring together rock groups/performers to donate money to the earthquake fund.
http://www.musicforrelief.org/
there are links do donate money via the Red-Cross page on there

I will use them next then - the link on the post above doesn't work for me though:j :j0 -
Please, please, make a donation -
if you can spare SOME of the money you have saved on hkg flights, argos bargains, online codes, bargain mobile phones, gamecube mistakes etc. please share it with others - you really can make a difference!
