Does everyone have this problem with DD? Ive set mine up with DD, my payments are due in about 2 weeks (would be my first), hope they take the money from there as my paypal account doesnt have money and cant really be bothered to put some money in there. There isnt a paypal charge or some sort when I put some money in my paypal acocunt from my bank?

If you have your credit/debit card linked with your PayPal account it will just take the money from this if you don't have any in your PayPal account. Just like it would if you brought something off ebay. Theres no charge either.

I remember being in the middle of a debate with some (IMO) incorrect eBay fees.

eBay being slow took ages to respond to each email and I kept getting unpaid fee mails every few days.

Eventually it ended up in a debt collection company sending a letter to my home threatening a court appearance for something stupid like £50! (They probably make this in about 10 seconds...). Anyway the action kept being threatened, letter after letter. Eventually my eBay account balance was changed to reflect the incorrect charges, I was then in credit by £20! (eBay seller fees = -£20).

Even after providing all the evidence I was now in credit I was still threatened with the legal action for the next few weeks. Finally I phoned the debt company up on the 'deadline date' and they instantly said the claim had been wiped.

    Charming!

I have a DD set up (from my bank) to pay my ebay fees. Every month I get the invoice and a couple of reminders to pay. The fees are always taken from my bank in time though. I think that the reminders are set up automatically.

the bill was about £20, and it was just before xmas last year!!
i went and paid it at a paypoint outlet, then rang the debt agency to tell them it had been paid in full.

It then took about another two months before i could use ebay again
