hiya,

I got an 02 from CPW recently, and can't figure out what to call to check my inclusive mins? With 3 its 333 and orange is 150 and even vodafone lets you do it but i can't figure out how to do it via 02.

Its a pay monthly phone

I'm not too sure if it is same as pay and go but try this....

Dial 4444, choose option 2 for bolt on's then 2 for balances.

    Best of luck

Asked and answered many times before. Have you tried searching this part of the forum to check if similar posts have been made?

Anyways to answer your question, the simple answer is to search this part of the site to find the answer. The more helpful answer is No there isn't a specific number to dial to find out how many minutes you have left. You would usually log in to the o2 website to find out but as you got it through CPW, you have to log in on their website as reading from previous posts, CPW handles o2 billing. :)

And if your phone has minute/text counters, re-set them at the start of each billing period.
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.

    thanks for the replies:)

yeah, I can log onto the CPW website, but that requires the first bill where it has some account numbers or something, and I haven't got that one yet.

Yeah the call timers will be handy, I actually thought i spoke to O2 customer services but that was actually over a landline! So that wont mess up my counters....thanks for reminding me :A

about the search-i tried nvm i'll go again

ok search results say that there is no way to do it straight from your phone, especially since I am contracts via CPW  oh well...

This is a good, idea, however, I've found that calls take some time (24 hours or more) to filter through the system.
Hence, calls which are made before the end of one billing period actually appear on the next bill... so how do you know exactly when to reset the counters?

Just call 0208 8965000 (or the landline num you have for CPW -O2) and ask for O2 support.

Ask them to give you your account number and use that to register on http://mycarphonewarehouse.com

Thats quickest way to register that I used. Then you can monitor the usage online.

For a quick check you can just dial same number and ask the O2 support staff about your remaining minutes.

    Hope that helps.

Its 12 midnight on the date your new billing month starts (not the date bill is processed). My billing starts on 26th so new bundle will be used from 12 midnight or 00:01 from 26th. However my bill is always dated 28th.

To be on safe side call above num and they will tell you exactly when its a new month.

However it is possible for calls made at the end of one billing period to count against the following months allowance (I have about 400 mins this month that are clearly dated in the last billing period but counting against this months minutes - I was trying to use up the minutes as they don't role over). This has obviously used half this month's allowance so at the end of the month I will have gone well oer so I will have to go back to O2 CS and get them to fix it.
Their billing is very poor, I am suprised otelo let them get away with it.
    I think....

Board mods - how about a sticky on how to find out remaining allowances on all networks as it comes up so often?
    I think....
