Okay okay okay. Lets calm down. Go get a cup of tea, it's all sortable.

Right - what actually NEEDS paying? Then what would you LIKE to pay? Priorities, okay? I really think you need to get that new budget done straight away, and get lower payments agreed - I know you want to wait until the new payments kick in, but you sound like you need a steadying influence right now. How long til your TC's go down? You're getting all worked up again.

Don't forget you can phone Apex and say 'The offers good but I can't afford that right now'. Don't forget, it's not like that HAS to be paid. It would be brilliant, as it's 'half price', but push comes to shove it's not like they're going to take if further if you don;t. Have you agreed with Dad when he's happy to be paid? You could always see if he can wait til after the holiday. The trip wold be great, and I know it'll be gutting if you can't go on it, but it won;t ruin the holiday if you don't. And if you're going to make yourself miserable in the meantime, that's not good.

So take a breath love. Is there anyway the TC people can tell you what the payments are likely to be? Get a ballpark figure to work with right now?

Call the water people and come to an agreement - but first work out what you can afford. No point telling them you can ay half now, half later and then find you can't.

We're all behind you love, you can do this, you just need to settle down and quit panicking! You've got my number, call me if you get in a flap.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Hey Obi - last payment of TC this Friday, am off work Monday so had planned to do my calls then ie. annual declaration...how likley are united utilities to let me pay over say 3 months or so?

Your right about Apex, i know - just feel like im lettin the whole family down again - i know im not and its not all down to me but you cant help how you feel.

OH income dropped by about £400 on a bad month as now basic&commission based, on a good month can be the £400 up so that doesnt help.

Think on Monday will post a total honest to goodness SOA so you can all help/advise :-)

I think as long as you phone them ASAP, tell them you're having a problem but you want to pay xx over xx month,s and maybe make a small payment staright away to show willing they should be happy enough. They're still getting paid after all!

You post up, we'll all have a crack at helping out. I know you feel bad, and that you know you're doing the best you can. I just want to make sure you know that, and aren't herniating yourself without good cause!

Get everything ready for Monday, and give yourself a day to get it all done. By Monday night you'll be flying high and straight again. Everything sorted, all calls made, budget done, family made aware of new budget and you'll know exactly where you stand. You'll feel a whole lot better.

Hi Obi im going to try to call them later tonight - assume they will be open till later on as i only get in from work around 5.30 pm - fingers crossed..

Thinking it may be better to do annual declaration on Friday/Saturday so that once their figures are updated i can ring back Monday to find out payment changes etc - then whilst im off can do the new budget thaking these changes into account.

I cant help herniating myself - lol - wish i could and didnt worry but this is the one thing over anything in my life that consumes me - im verging on obsessed :-(

Morning all...not much to report, didnt manage to ring water last night, long night nothing bad just didnt sit down till late and by that time too late to ring water - have got the bill ready and will call them today.

Feeling slightly edgy - had a blow out on the kids yesterday - they didnt do anything particularly bad but i over-reacted, i can visually see all my stress is rearing its ugly head and im taking it out on the people i love around me, which of course you can imagine oce ive calmed down makes me feel like 1000 times worse!!! Its not the kids fault im in this mess its mine and OH's no-one else should have to suffer because of our stupidity.

Im in constant turmoil, school uniforms x 3 to pay for, no hol spending money, worried about huge income drop due to possibility of massive reduction on tax credits, worried about making enough money both me and OH at work to cover household bills never mind debts - just never ending.

Plus havent spoken to mum or brother in nearly 4 months now since she had a go at me and i had a go back!! its the first time in my life ive stood up to them and this is where it gets me!!

I'm so fed up but trying to put a brave face on it - i have to work full time and theres no let up there either - just feel like im treading water and getting no-where - if anything, sinking faster!!

posted this on tax credit forum but owndering if any of my buddys on here know anything about this?

As you may know ive been worrying myself sick for weeks now about how mch tax credits should go down upon renewal.

Ive just been reading about a 25K rule, basically that as long as ur income hasnt risen by over 25K for the year tax credits sould remain same? is this correct?
surely not? but thats what im reading...any ideas anyone?

This could be the good news im long overdue..

mornin or shud i say afternoon all - feel slightly better today - me and OH had a good chat - were gonna redo our budgt once we get TC amounts.

Hes current job is paying around £400 less than old one per month hes gonna see if things improve and if they dont hes gonna look elsewhere after the holiday for a job with more income, this should help out a lot....

    :-)
