    Hey Dots,

Stop panicking woman, you're doing great. Have you thought about switching to UHT milk? I know it's a bizarre concept, but when we had a tenner to last the week, I got it as it was cheaper than normal milk. Tasted okay!

Which sites are you using for vouchers for next holiday? I'm using quite a few now, and it's not that hard to keep up - I'm planning on paying for Xmas, plus having enough to pay for 1 Disney ticket in our 2010 holiday. I'm sure we can all help you find which sites are going to help you out the most.

I can't recommend having some 'Dots Time' now and again. Kick the kids out, have a soak, read a book - something just for you. You'll burn out otherwise. It's the only way I manage to juggle everything without getting all homicidal. Mean it - you need to have something. Try a Yoga DVD.

Relax hun, things are slowly getting there, and you're doing really really well. Calm down, and don't forget to enjoy the everyday things you might miss thanks to stressing out. Did the Little Dots say anything cute today? Did Mr Dots do something small but sweet 9like wash up?). Did you pass a pretty garden today? Take the time to appreciate the things in your life that you otherwise miss. It might sound all California Self-Help, but it helps.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Ob is right, this is a good idea dotty!!

I switched over to value UHT about 3 months ago....49p each for 1 litre. I need 2 a day as we go through roughly 4 pints, by my workings out that saves me....£131 a year!!!

Morning all - not much to report today, skint this week after getting a few essentials yesterday and some petrol for car for work. Can't believe i have left us in this position again - its been a total nightmare and ive only paid back a third of the cost of the holiday :-(

At lease i am adamant it will never happen again hence the saving of the vouchers for next years holiday.

Lots going on family wise at the mo and none of its good im afraid - i seem to be having crossed/no words at all with most of my family - this surely point it to me who has the issues?

Maybe all the debt and constant pressure is stressin me out i dont know .

At work today and all week (full time 5 days a week) just down in the dumps generally, same old routine all workwork work and no play so i seems and even when we have the time to go out we never have the money!

Sorry you are feeling down in the dumps, I hate this time of the month when you are scrimping and saving counting every penny till payday.

Chin up hun least we are doing something about our debts and things should get easier eventually :D

Can things get any worse? thought id have a payment in bank today of £40 - this would have tied me over nicely until tax credit on friday but just checked online banking and they have taken £60 in charges for unpaid direct debits (one of them the company's fault) leaving me -£19.66....god knows how im gonna survive until Friday...things are so tight i cant even afford food and petrol at the moment...really need to look at this budget again at the end of the month - think im overstretching myself too much in trying to pay off debts sooner rather than later - im gettin so focused our quality of life, even for the everyday things is suffering now. Pay day for hubby a week Friday so not too bad but although ive made great inroads this month weve really struggled to get through the month, thisnis no good need to rething my strategy - any advice anyone whos been in the same or similar situation?
