If he's ok with it will take a huge amount of pressure off and enable me to pay all or most of next months bills too...
Im going to wait till i get him on my own and ask him - wish me luck!Focusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T0 -
Good luck hun I'm sure he will fine. He will probably appreciate your honesty and I'm sure he wouldn't want to see you struggle.

My parents have been to Egypt numerous times, they absolutely love it there.
We're off to Denia in Spain. Have rented a villa. We go with my sister and her children so four adults and 3 children. Should be fun.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Yeah same here. Not so sure we will even go away next year as obviously all money that could be thrown at debt. Then part of me thinks well we both work full time and deserve a break. Hard isn't it as you need that balance between debt busting and having a life.
We did say we might see if we can do things cheaper next year by booking things ourselves rather than through a travel agent. We have also been saving up our clubcard points to use as airmiles so if we could get our flights paid for using them it would make a huge difference.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Morning Dots,
Egypt is fab - used to spend a lot of time there when I was little. Could count in Arabic! Relax and enjoy it. The people are friendly, and once you get over being hassled in the markets (try not to look too touristy) you really get into the swing of things
Our next planned holiday is 2010, Florida for 2 weeks with good friends of our and thier kids - ours will be 3 & 5 then, so just the right age for them to be amazed by everything, it's going to be so enjoyable watching them. Worked out we need to put £100 away a month from now, which is doable on our budget, and and extra will go towards spending. I'm converting all my piggypoints etc into Keith prowse vouchers for the disney tickets (once Xmas is paid for!)
Hows the budget working out? You're sounding a lot more positive, so go Dots! Yes, this month is tough, but in a while you'll be caught up and things will start to flow. I'm sure your dad will be fine with the payment plan - like you said he's not waiting to pay it out to something else.
And don't forget:
YOU ROCK!!This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
Current Pay Off Target : £1500 :mad:0 -
Well through work we get additional incentives one being travel vouchers so my aim is to save some if not all towards the family holiday next year - to be honest this, over any other yearly event like xmas etc is our largest spend.
Same situation as you totally, we both work fulltime and although so dearly want to get rid of the debt burden i dont think i could cope without a holiday to look forward to once a yesr - liek i said tho -now im committed to this 100% and next years holiday will be in the bag - already got around £750 worth towards the one next year so thats a major plus.Focusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T0 -

booooooooooo to mobile phone.
Chin up though it will be paid tomorrow and you are doing something about your debts.
Its hard though isnt it as sometimes you feel everything is against you. Next month I have my car tax, hubbies MOT and daughters nursery fees to pay. Which in short means not much left for debt busting :mad:Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712
