living in a coach flat above garages

I bought and lived in one for just over a year in 2006.
It was above 4 garages (one was mine). Can't say I really heard the garges that much. To be fair though 2 of the garges belonged to one property and they put an electric motor on one door and never used the other (could be accessed from the first garage).
Didn't have any problems which have been mentioned before, I mean kids playing - that's not going to effect just this type of house is it. Mine was in a courtyard with another of the same design and a few other garages from other properties.
It was a bit cold underfoot, other than that all fine. Cheaper than the houses on the development as it had no garden. It had a decent utility room on the ground floor, one of the garages, 2 bedrooms two bathrooms and 400 sq ft open plan Kitchen/living room. Ideal for me as I bought half with a mate, so is good for FTB's as you could easily house share.0
