My OH has just bought a Tesco mobile phone for£35. very basic but small, light and neat. Really nasty ring tones though and doesn't accept downloads so you are stuck with them. Otherwise seems a pretty good phone.0

Another thought, try your local freecycle someone may have one they want to get rid of. (or a teenage relative who's just got the latset model) and the take it somewhere that will unlock for about a tenner then buy a sim card for the provider of your choice.0

Best deal around would have to be the easymobile.com Nokia 1100 with £31 of credit for £30 delivered - simply the best basic phone (all IMHO).Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0

Glad it helped - to develop the idea further, it should be easily unlocked for free & a free sim of the incoming person/people's network, could help them save a fortune too.Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0
