Oh yes that is the truth you reap what you sow.
However dont let some on here hear you say that the CSA is used as a weapon, oh no they wont have that! We know that what ever they say it is true it is used as a weapon and not a tool!0 -
our living hell will end in September. I WILL be soooo made up when Ms PWC gets her comeuppance and a reduced income, she has made a living out of us and her other NRP for the past 18 years. To add that she went for a re-assessment knowing that my husband had had to relocate during the week and would have additional costs when the child/adult was 18! he's never attended any further education yet because CB say he does we still have had to pay! Finally we can see light!0

I was always a happy go lucky caring person. Have for years volunteered at charities and always been mindful of the way I treat people.
The BFH has made our lives so difficult with her constant threats (many directed at our children!!) that I feel I have reached the point of no return!
I no longer "care" whether she has enough money to feed her shopping habit and I no longer "care" about being amicable or fair!!
Lol you talking about our life DD :rotfl:
I feel I was a nicer person 10 yrs ago. I too no longer care. But in myself I feel better for it.
how old are the children in question? because from experience it does get better when they are older. when the child was about 5ish life was pure hell. Now he is 14 and its so much better. Her involvement is absolutely minimal and he knows what his mother is.her actions spoke very clearly to him as he was growing up. So hang on in there Blob is so very right,
what goes around comes around .... eventually. :beer:0 -
may I pass on my congratulations to jpmummy you made it :j
hopefully me and Dancing Shoes will too. 6 yrs to go for me thats the worst case scenario. Know what you mean about paying her. its not about the cash being given its that as long as you owe her this cash she can screw with your life at her will. All be over soon.
just keep popping in here DD we'll try to pull you along. bdlt has a crap time too, doing the situation from the same angle we are.
has to be said that the PWC on here have crap NRPs though so lets not start eh:D pity their NRPs dont hook up with our PWCs thats karma:rotfl:0 -
:Dand Cranky SHE hit the spot too.
there ya go Cranks, I made a little amendment just for you love.though be warned I make the same mistake again and again lol.
Obviously I have no sense as i'm still dangling on the end of our PWC's prodding stick lol.0 -

You're sooooo right!
We don't have long to go but she is intent on making our lives hell until we get there:mad:
I agree that thr NRP's who don't pay are a waste of space, when you have a child you have the financial burden of that responsibility.
Unfortunately for us we are unable to see the children (another case of her making our lives hell!)
I hope that one day they can come and find us and ask why this has all happened and i will show them all the proof we have of how she has made our lives hell.
I know she will never accept the csa calculation and will continue to harrass us, what can we do then go to court and request no contact?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Stand correct Blob. It is not always used as a weapon, nor is it always used as a tool, I must have gotten to you in an earlier thread. In some cases, mine included, it is a tool, and only a tool. I am not one of the unfortunate, greedy PWC who see child support as a cash bonus, but rather a means to support my child whilst the 'other caring' parent (such as yourself) is still legally responsible to supporting their child too.
As for OP, my sympathies are with you, and you must hold your head up, the day will come when she will be up the creek BIG time, no job, no money and you will be right in feeling well shot of her. She will deserve what she gets at that time, but I guess by the sounds of her character, we'll all be supporting her bad attitude to free living then!0 -
Dancing Shoes - I agree that it does change you as a person. For me, having someone that I used to care and respect (my ex) decide not to support our shared child, has indeed changed me. If nothing else, it has been very difficult/stressful/time consuming.. dealing with all of the legalities and processes to get the support he should be offering freely and as a matter of proper parental care. My admiration to all the NRP who give this freely, without grumbling.0

Playing Hardball - I completely agree with what you have said about people not willing to contribute:mad:
As much as I hate her (and yes she is probably the only person who i truly hate) I wouldn't begrudge her money to support the children but I know that it doesn't really support the children and I also think that there is no reason for her not to work:rolleyes:
She has told us (in so many words) that she doesn't want the figure that is right and fair (as per csa calculation) she wants more
It seems to me that the CSA penalises(sp) the nrp's who are happy to pay by messing up their calculations but allows the wasters who don't want to pay to be able to avoid payment:mad::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
