When i put this to Orange they said 'You do what you have to do' and those words of wisdoms came from a manager.

I would give them one more opportunity to sort it, and then take them to small claims. I think they work based on the attitude that people will give up eventually, and so they 'win'.

Whilst I agree that he should not be paying for something he has not agreed to, he does need to sort the situation out. This could affect his credit rating, with marks put on his credit file without any question as to whether they should be there or not.

I used to be with Orange and found their customer service to be absolutely shocking.They really don't give a monkey's about their customers which seems to be the case with most large companies these days.

Moved over to Vodafone about 6 years ago and have nothing but praise for them,although i might just have been lucky.....
