Ring finger bigger on writing hand?

i have just taken my ring off and tried to put it on my right hand and it wont fit so the shop assistants theory is correct for me!
When i went to get sized my hands had swollen on the part where my ring would be sitting and i would have needed a bigger size but the guy used my knuckle as a guide. He said a lot of peoples hands swell in the shop due to heat and also nerves!would love to win an ipad!

Doesn't work for me. Took my wedding and engagement rings off and tried them on right hand and they fit exactly the same. perhaps fractionally tighter but that's probably because my right finger hasn't got the ring indent in it like my left!0
