Ive just ordered the 16GB 3GS Iphone

I am going to unlock it and put it on my Three sim card, I no it can be done, but im not sure how, any one can advise best way?

Go to www dot iclarifed dot com

They have step by step tutorials with screen dumps for near enough anything apple related. They also have the links to all the software you need.

Jailbreaking is different from unlocking. He must unlock it first in order to use his three SIM.

There are loads of methods online.

He needs to unlock the phone so that he can use his 3 sim card, he also needs to jailbreak it if he wants to install 3rd party apps (in addition to iphones own app store) from developers via Cydia or installer.

He can find tutorials with links to programs like redsnow that will unlock and jailbreak his iphone all in one go.

Could someone assist me with a similar query?

I am on Three and am looking at getting an iPhone. If I purchased an Unlocked iPhone (via Ebay) would I be able to put my Three Sim card straight in and use it? Or do I need to do this "Jailbreaking" thing? I only intend on using Apps available from the Apple store.... (Blonde question) What are 3rd party Apps? I only really plan on getting apps from Apple through iTunes so presume this doesn't affect me.

In addition can this be done with any iPhone or does it have to be one of the latest releases?

It would be best to get an 02 officialy unlocked iphone rather than a jailbroken iphone thats unlocked otherwise if you update the iphone software you will lose the jailbreak and unlock.
It will work fine on 3 all you need do is enter the 3 internet and mms settings.
